Composition
The product contains:
- selected, naturally occurring, fast growing Hazard Group 1 micro-organisms with a wide range of metabolic capabilities
- surfactants, free enzymes and nutrients
- cereal based carrier
Microbial Content
The product contains 6 strains belonging to the Bacillus and Pseudomonas genera. The component strains include both aerobic and facultative organisms. The total viable count in the ready to use product is not less than 4.0 x 108 cfu/g
Operating Conditions
The bacteria in the product need to be reactivated in warm water (temperature range 25 - 30°C) for about 30 to 60 minutes before application. The product is most effective when the operating conditions in the treatment plant are close to the optimum listed below:

Applications
Amnite S150L contains bacteria which are metabolically very active and versatile as well as being good floc formers. The product rapidly establishes an active biomass which has the ability to degrade a wide range of compounds normally present in most municipal and industrial waste waters, resulting in COD / BOD reduction. The product is ideal to provide the biological seeding for a newly commissioned treatment plant or to boost the performance of an existing biomass.

Amnite S150L is a granular powder which rapidly establishes an active biomass with an enhanced biodegradation efficiency. The product is ideal for reducing BOD / COD levels and producing a sludge with excellent settling properties. The product is homogeneous and safe to use. It does not contain any pathogens.
