Baccelerator nominated for yet another Award

Cleveland Biotech have been nominated as finalists in the 2006 Tees Valley Business Awards.

Cleveland Biotech entered the Innovation category with their ground breaking product - The Baccelerator.

This is a mobile bacterial activation system. It is capable of delivering large quantities of actively growing specifically selected bacteria to site. It works on a continuous rather than a batch fashion, ensuring that the bacteria are at their optimal growth stage when delivered.

The Baccelerator is ideal for recovering failing treatment plants, it can also be used to produce bacteria for biological land remediation projects, the treatment of landfill leachates and in large scale composting - in fact anywhere large volumes of biomass are required to treat an organic pollutant.

The Baccelerator was shortlisted for its innovative approach, environmental benefits and commercial potential.
