Cleveland Biotech Launch FRIDGEFREE

Following successful nationwide trials with a national supermarket chain Cleveland Biotech are launching a new product : FridgeFree

The Problem:

Condensate drains serving commercial fridge lines frequently block with a gel-like substance. This gel can build up very quickly resulting in flooding, forced section closures and health and safety issues.

What is it?:

The gel is a microbial mass bound together by an 'exopolysaccharide' secreted by bacteria. This is generated by bacteria during a period of growth as a result of a lack of available nutrients.

The Solution:

FridgeFree is a combination of a broad spectrum of spore forming strains of Bacilli, and bio-surfactants. It acts by disrupting the natural formation of this microbial consortium and associated gelatinous material, thereby allowing free-flowing drains.
