Cleveland Biotech Wins Award
Cleveland Biotech won the Small Business Award at the annual Tees Valley awards dinner.
The event was held at Tall Trees near Yarm on 6 April. There were 600 attendees from the local business community present.
The small company award was sponsored by Business Link. The finalists were a diverse range of companies, covering sensor technology, steel fabrication and environmental biotechnology.
Cleveland Biotech's recent growth and excellent results, coupled with their ambitious expansion plans for the future were all cited as reasons for them winning the award.
Cleveland Biotech was also a finalist for the Service Award, narrowly missing out to Faithful & Gould, a global property service provider.
Having won the Tees Valley award Cleveland Biotech are now automatically entered into the regional finals where they are up against the winners of the Small Business Award from the Tyne and Wear Valleys.
